In this series, I have attempted to capture the essence of the seasons. These works capture a reflection in a window or a pool of water; the color of a flower; a leaf falling from a tree or laying on the ground; colors of a garden; the sweet perfume of flowers or cut grass; a stroll along a creek. Contrasting colors represent each season, familiar to us all wherever in the world we live or find ourselves. These works attempt to capture a moment in time and to record those senses, feelings and experiences that draw us to the beauty of the seasons.

These works are part of a series which are sublimated on india synthetic silk fabric using disperse dyes. Silk roving is also added. They each measure 20"x108".
